Passionate about meeting people and discovering landscapes, lovers of Belle-Île-en-Mer, we chose to follow our dream and become hotel operators in 2005.

La Désirade is the result of a long thought that led us to leave our professions as HR manager and speech therapist.

Today, at La Désirade, we do what we really love everyday: sharing moments of life and creating relationships.

It is no coincidence that we have decided to include “La Désirade” on the path to sustainable tourism.
With the desire to strive for development meeting the needs of the present generations, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs, our commitment is a subtle mixture of convictions, great choices… economic and administrative constraints. We thus contribute through our daily actions, sometimes modest but having value as an example and/or pedagogy, to the efforts of the local community for sustainable development.
